TEMPORARY HIATUS

No Guild meetings are scheduled for the first half of 2024. A special committee will study options for the future of the Guild, and will report back in June.

Regular meetings: We normally meet at 4 pm on the second Sunday, every other month – January, March, May, July, September and November. Our meeting place is at the North Shallowford Annex, 4470 N. Shallowford Road, Dunwoody, Georgia. Exceptions are noted below.

We also have activity meetings and outings to studios throughout the year on alternate months.

We often have a guest speaker to cover topics such as marketing, glass media and techniques, and the business side of art. Sometimes, we conduct short meetings at a local studio with scheduled demos and fun activities, and periodically have group projects for charitable giving.

Membership Dues are paid in January, but guests who want to learn about the Guild are welcome to attend a meeting.

April 16 – Roswell Visual Arts Center – making ornaments for Festival of Trees

May 21 – Annual safety meeting

July 9 – A short history of glass; member show and tell

August 27 – Decatur Glassblowing 

September 10 – Glass Challenge – Primary Colors

October 7 – Mosaic ornaments

November 12 – annual membership meeting and gift exchange
